In the different production areas of the steel-processing industry, operating conditions for sliding bearings can be very demanding. This includes high temperatures, slag, and abrasive dusts. At some points, the sliding movements present special challenges for the bearings and their lubrication. In such cases, our maintenance-free sliding bearings with homogeneous CuSn6-C6/C8 lubricant or the version of the wrapped bearing with steel base and sintered sliding layer have proven effective. In special application cases, dust grooves can protect the sliding surfaces from dusts and slag.
