The challenge in this case was a tight delivery date in combination with design changes to the lubrication grooves shortly before the slide bars were completed.
The bars were made with a length of over 2700mm on our Hedelius T7 milling machine. During the manufacturing process, we were contacted by our customer with regards to changing the lubrication grooves. This was immediately adapted in the drawing by Lohmann and production finally finished in coordination with our customer.
